Why do the majority of Brahmins remain in support of BJP's policies?

This situation did not happen in a day. I am 66 years old. In our teenage years, Brahmins used to call us traitors in our town of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) because our family was Jana Sanghi. At that time it was an established belief that a Brahmin is a Congressman. The time was when the Jana Sangh was called the Party of Banias. At that time, big leaders of the Congress were also Brahmins such as Kamla Pati Tripathi, Uma Shankar Dixit, Dwarka Prasad Mishra, Vidya Charan Shukla, Lalit Narayan Mishra, Jagannath Mishra, Shyama Charan Shukla, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, Shankar Dayal Sharma, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Haridev Joshi, Bhagwat Jha Azad etc. Therefore, the natural tendency of Brahmins was towards Congress. But gradually the Brahmin leaders in the Congress went on the edge. When the movement of Ramjanmabhoomi was at its peak, the inclination of Brahmins turned towards BJP. The Congress' policy of leaning more towards minorities completely alienated the Brahmins from Congress. The new Brahmin generation of the 80s and 90s completely cut off from the Congress, leaned towards the BJP. The elderly Brahmins are also alienated to BJP from Congress.
